Recently The Moving Company Christchurch was busy helping the Cholmondeley Children’s Centre with their annual Little Gems Fundraiser.
The crew assisted in the set-up and pack down of the event that evening by moving furniture from the local football club to the function room at the Christchurch Arts Centre.
Cholmondeley Children’s Centre, General Manager Toni Tinirau says, “We’re thrilled with how Cholmondeley’s Little Gems Party – presented by ILAM Toyota was received by guests and so incredibly grateful for the support The Moving Company provided in donating their time and resources, transporting large, borrowed items for the event and saving our team several human hours that we could not afford.”
Cholmondeley Children’s Centre provides short-term planned and emergency respite care for tamariki ages 3-12 years. Cholmondeley is the only community-based children’s respite care and education centre in New Zealand, with over 500 children staying at the centre each year.
The Moving Company, Assistant Branch Manager Jo Cochrane commented, “The Moving Company was privileged to move items of furniture for this very worthy cause, helping the Cholmondeley Children’s Centre with their annual Little Gems fundraiser event.
