We are seeking an experienced operations leader for our Christchurch Facility to oversee our daily operational delivery.
About the Role
This is a hands-on leadership role suited to an experienced removals or logistics professional who thrives in a fast-paced operational environment. As part of our Christchurch Facility Management Team, you will take ownership of daily operations, ensuring jobs are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest service standards.
You will lead from the front — coordinating crews, supporting warehouse activity, managing fleet resources, and driving a strong health and safety culture.
Key Responsibilities:
· Planning, scheduling, and managing daily removals crews.
· Overseeing warehouse operations, including local and intercity movements.
· Fleet management, maintenance coordination, and compliance.
· Championing Health & Safety for the facility.
· Building strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, and internal teams.
· Monitoring operational performance, costs, and service quality.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
· Proven operational leadership experience in removals, freight, shipping, or logistics.
· Strong people management skills with the ability to motivate and manage field crews.
· Sound financial awareness and a focus on quality outcomes.
· Confidence using computer systems and scheduling software (Moveware experience advantageous).
· A proactive, solutions-focused attitude with flexibility around working hours.
· A current Class 2–5 Licence with F endorsement advantageous.
