Supporting the Little Gems Party

Providing furniture transport to the Cholmondeley’s Little Gems Party was a wonderful way to contribute to a great cause, and The Moving Company was pleased to have helped with the success of the event. Our staff are honoured to assist this very deserving charity helping the tamariki and family of Christchurch and Canterbury in need.

The Moving Company proudly supported Cholmondeley once again for their annual ‘Little Gems Party’ fundraiser.

The 2024 ILAM TOYOTA Little Gems Party is Cholmondeley’s biggest fundraising event of the year. It’s a great evening of entertainment and dining that raises funds to support the care and well-being of children and families in need.

Cholmondeley based in Christchurch provides short-term, emergency, and planned respite care for whānau with children aged 5 – 12 years.

This is the fourth year The Moving Company Christchurch have assisted with the Little Gems Party, transporting, setting-up and packing down furniture for the event held at Christ’s College.

The Moving Company is honoured to support Cholmondeley helping the tamariki and families of Christchurch and the Canterbury region.

“If you are planning to move in the near future please read this before you commit to any moving company apart from these guys. The Moving Company are reliable, efficient, professional and the best people we have dealt with. Their prices are very reasonable and they treat your furniture like it is their own.”

“No problem is too big for them to handle and their employees are friendly and extremely hard workers. The van Dyk’s can recommend them because they fulfil our life philosophy which is nothing is impossible and that is the way they operate on a daily basis.”
